You’ve got to hand it to Alia Bhatt, who made a remarkable debut with ‘Student of the Year’. At 20, she’s got all the poise and attitude of a true Bollywood diva and makes it all seem so effortless, too.

The daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan may have had a tailor-made launch pad and a smooth ride to early fame, but she’s taken to the role of newbie hottie and plays it to perfection, without a trace of gawkiness.

Alia is quite the fashionista, sporting everything from Dior gowns to skimpy skirts with utter comfort. She’s unafraid to act her age – whether it’s wearing funky accessories, downplaying her make-up or going with messy hair.

“Being a youngster basically means don’t limit yourself to a particular colour or range. Just go all out,” she said in a recent interview.
